We believe that patient involvement is critical to a successful outcome. That said, we actively involve you in every stage of the treatment process. We make sure you are properly educated about your condition, stay informed about your progress, and understand the specific steps you can take to improve your quality of life.

We provide individualized treatment.

Because no two patients are identical, every patient we treat receives a completely unique and personalized course of therapy. By carefully assessing your condition and understanding your needs, our therapists will create an effective course of therapy that is as individual as you are.

We focus on one patient at a time.

SSPT physical therapists only treat one patient at a time. We don't double-book, nor do we pass you around among therapists or ask you to share your therapist's attention with another patient. During your appointment, you will receive one-on-one, hands-on attention by a single therapist who is focused on providing you the care you need to reach your goals.

We offer private treatment rooms.

Some clinics set up treatment tables in a gym; others treat multiple patients in a large room separated by curtains. We value your privacy. Our individual treatment rooms ensure that you receive the privacy you need during each session.

We employ only experienced physical therapists.

AT SSPT, you will never be seen by an aide or assistant. All assessments and care are provided by experienced physical therapists who hold post-graduate physical therapy certifications.

We use evidenced-based practices.

Because our therapists base their practice on recent evidence-based research, you will receive the most advanced physical therapy evaluation and care available, at every stage of your therapy.

Whether you prefer to walk, drive, or take the Metro, getting to us is easy. Our convenient location in downtown Washington, DC, makes it easy to arrange for treatment before or after work, or even during your lunch hour.
